Dark matter properties through cosmic history

چکیده
We perform the first test of dark matter (DM) stress-energy evolution through cosmic history, using microwave background measurements supplemented with baryon acoustic oscillation data and Hubble Space Telescope key project data. constrain DM equation state (EoS) in 8 redshift bins, its sound speed (shear) viscosity 9 finding no convincing evidence for non-$\Lambda$CDM values any bins. Despite this enlarged parameter space, are constrained relatively well at late times (due to inclusion CMB lensing), whereas EoS is most strongly around recombination. These results time level "coldness" required across various cosmological epochs both perturbative levels. show that simultaneously allowing dependence parameters shifts posterior abundance before recombination a higher value, while keeping present day similar $\Lambda$CDM value. This constant compared $\Lambda$CDM, suggesting time-dependent well-suited explore possible solutions persistent tensions within model. detailed comparison our previous study involving vanishing same datasets order explain physical mechanism behind these shifts.

A History of Dark Matter
Although dark matter is a central element of modern cosmology, the history of how it became accepted as part of the dominant paradigm is often ignored or condensed into a brief anecdotical account focused around the work of a few pioneering scientists. The aim of this review is to provide the reader with a broader historical perspective on the observational discoveries and the theoretical argum...
متن کاملInhomogeneous baryogenesis , cosmic antimatter , and dark matter
A model of inhomogeneous baryogenesis based on the Affleck and Dine mechanism is described. A simple coupling of the scalar baryon field to the inflaton allows for formation of astronomically significant bubbles with a large baryon (or antibaryon) asymmetry. During the farther evolution these domains form compact stellar-like objects, or lower density clouds, or primordial black holes of differ...

How do we know that the CMB photons originate in the early universe? We discuss the possibility of their origin from mirror neutrino annihilation and suggest an experimental test of this hypothesis. This essay was not written for any competition on the subject of gravity. Despite its remarkable success, it should be noted that the standard ΛCDM cosmology is largely an empirical affair, with no ...
متن کاملDark matter production from cosmic necklaces
Cosmic strings have gained a great interest, since they are formed in a large class of brane inflationary models. The most interesting story is that cosmic strings in brane models are distinguished in future cosmological observations. If the strings in brane models are branes or superstrings that can move along compactified space, and also if there are degenerated vacua along the compactified s...
متن کاملCosmic strings with interacting hot dark matter
We compute the linear power spectrum of cosmic string sedeed fluctuations in the context of neutrinos with a strong self-interaction and show that it is very similar to that obtained in the context of ‘normal’ neutrinos. We compare our results with observational data and show that for any value of the cosmological parameters h and Ω0 the interacting hot dark matter power spectrum requires a lar...
